Azienda Agricola Contesa di Rocco Pasetti & C.S.S.

In Aburuzzo, at 20 km from Pescara, on the sunny hills of collecorvino, is situated our farm. Here we cultivate our autocthonous vines of montepulciano, trebbiano d’Abruzzo, and other kinds of vines of white berry like pecorino, cococciola, malvasia. We have choice for our vines, the best exposure in reason of the thermic necessity of the vines. The vines are situated on a clay calcareous soil and a clay sand soil. The vines are laid out in rows, facing south est. It is for us a tradition to follow personally the pruning stage of the vines and the grape harvest. In our cellar we aim to the preservation of the natural characteristics of the grapes with a low treatement of the wine. In our cellar we use inox and wood tanks and we continually check the temperature of the wine, during the fermentation phase. For the ageing of our montepulciano, the muturation take place in oaks cask of slavonia of medium and large capacity.
