Terroir Slopes off the southernmost part of Bulgaria's eastern bank of the Danube River from 4-5 year old vines
Growing district of grape Svishtov, Bulgaria
Climate Temperate continental climate with over 2500 hours of sunshine and more than 90 sunny days throughout the year. Hot, dry summers with cooler nights, cold winters and ocasional spring frosts and freezings. The wind coming from the Danube river creates a large diurnal shift. This allows the full developement of the aromas and flavors in the grapes.
Geology Soils are rocky and clay.
Harvest Machine harvested with grape harvester sorted through the selective process on board. Transported in 4-ton containers carefully monitored at all times.
Vinification Processed with classic technology––controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a volume of 35 m³.
Aging 55% stainlees steel tanks with French staves for 6 months.
