Chateau Civrac is located in the commune of Civrac-en-Medoc, in the northern part of the Medoc. It shouldn’t be confused with other Chateaux and areas of the same name located in the Blaye and Bourg regions.
By the XIX th century large areas of vineyards were planted here. These vineyards were gradually abandoned, no doubt destroyed by phylloxera or other disasters. Recently the area is making a comeback with the added advantage of building around modern technology. The name of the Chateau comes from the name of the commune “Civrac-en-Medoc”.
