Clos Apalta, is considered today as one of the best wine in the world, largely acclaimed by wine critics and journalists. To date, this is the only South American wine to have been elected “Wine of the Year” by the American magazine, Wine Spectator, in its famous Annual Top 100. It was with vintage 2005. It’s also the only wine in Southern Hemisphere, with Penfold’s Grange, to obtain this ranking. Clos Apalta is also the only wine IN THE WORLD to be 5 times in the Top 100 Wine Spectator, including 3 times in the TOP 3 in 10 years (2000-2010).
