Impressive depth of color, the wine is a deep dark opaque black ruby color. Rich, forward and aromatic nose with hints of raspberry, currants, coffee and toast with a touch of oak. Medium-bodied, it has a solid core of ripe fruit and integrated oak. Firm ripe velvety tannins lay down the foundation for a wine with good ageing potential. JKW 4/2018.
